Oakdale Cheese & Specialties offers award-winning Gouda and lovely informal spaces to enjoy. Monica was asked to celebrate the rural setting along California State Highway 120 -- halfway between San Jose and Yosemite -- and to add ease and safety. She introduced many trees for shade and increased the access options for all. Monica also provided improved opportunities to enjoy the Koi fish at pond edges and a boulder fountain was integrated to allow water play. The thoughtful combination of mow-free turf and mowed turf allows for easier management of the park-like setting at the newly-fenced edges. It is now more of a joyful, family-friendly place to feed farm animals and picnic comfortably.

What a great spot in Oakdale! The shop & grounds are beautifully kept, it's a nice place to enjoy a delicious grilled cheese with a cup of tomato soup.
The little shop is clean & the service is super friendly. Also a great spot for a picnic or photoshoot. This picturesque place is definitely worth the visit! -- Giselle S.
